My team of engineers and I at SYNTONYL have built IVOKER, a private AI operator for businesses. It brings together the context of a business, the information its people work with, and the tools needed to carry a request through to a useful result.
IVOKER works across research, mail, files, documents, and authorized tasks on a Windows computer. It remembers preferences and relevant context between requests, helping the business build on work already done. Access is provided to invited clients through the IVOKER desktop app, with demonstrations available through our website.
Why We Built IVOKER
Most business work crosses several applications before it is complete. A request arrives in an email, the supporting information lives in a folder, a spreadsheet needs updating, and someone has to prepare a response. Each step depends on understanding what came before it.
That coordination takes time. People spend part of their day finding information, repeating instructions, moving material between applications, and checking whether a task is ready for the next person. The work becomes especially difficult when the context exists only in someone's memory.
IVOKER grew out of my work on ANNIE, where I developed persistent memory, reasoning, and the connection between conversation and action. My team and I brought that work into a product focused on business use, with its own client experience and access controls. IVOKER carries that context into the work itself.
From a Goal to a Deliverable
A request begins with the outcome the user needs. Users request research briefs, draft responses, organized documents, and work inside their business applications. The relevant files, connected accounts, and instructions establish the scope of the task.
IVOKER brings the available context into that request and uses the appropriate tools to work through it. Research informs a document. Relevant files provide the background for a message. Authorized computer access connects that work to the applications the business already uses.
We call this connected working environment the Hive. The business remains its operator, setting the goal, providing access, and reviewing the result. IVOKER brings the steps together, carrying relevant information from one part of the task into the next.
Results arrive as files, prepared messages, research findings, or completed steps in an authorized workflow. Users inspect the work and decide what happens next.
Context That Carries Forward
Every business develops its own way of working. There are preferred formats, recurring projects, instructions that apply across several tasks, and decisions that explain why a document or process looks the way it does.
Persistent memory gives that context a continuing role. IVOKER carries preferences and relevant information into later requests, reducing the need to introduce the same work from the beginning each time.
This is particularly useful when a task returns over several days. Follow-ups build on the earlier conversation and the material associated with it. Users add information, correct details, and change the requested outcome as the work develops.
Continuity is central to IVOKER. Persistent context helps each new request build on previous work.
Mail, Files, Research, and Computer Work
Mail and file connections give IVOKER access to the information a user chooses to make available. These connections are optional and require consent. They support work such as finding relevant material, reading documents, organizing information, and preparing drafts.
Research brings external information into the same process. IVOKER searches the web and reads sources, giving users material to examine alongside the answer. Those sources support the decisions and documents that follow.
Documents are part of the output as well as the input. IVOKER produces drafts, spreadsheets, and reports as files that people open, edit, and share. The work continues in the formats a team uses every day.
With the user's permission, IVOKER also works in applications and files on their Windows computer. This connects the operator to the business's existing working environment and supports tasks that extend beyond reading or writing a chat message.
A Connected Business Workflow
Consider a request to prepare a client follow-up. In this example, the background is spread across a message thread, a project folder, and a document describing the latest work. A useful response depends on bringing those pieces together.
The workflow involves finding the relevant information, identifying what needs attention, and preparing a draft with the appropriate supporting material. The person responsible can then check the facts, adjust the wording, and approve the message before it is sent.
IVOKER connects these steps in one workflow, carrying the purpose of the request through the work and bringing the result back for review.
The Business Keeps Control
Each firm has its own working context. Client information is scoped to that firm, and access is provided through invited accounts in the desktop app. Connections and computer work depend on the permissions the user grants.
Approval is part of the workflow. Mail is prepared for review and requires approval before sending. Important work comes back to the people responsible for deciding what is correct and what should happen next.
These controls let a business use the product within its own responsibilities. The team sets the standards for its work and retains the decisions that belong to it.
Private Client Access and Product Direction
We provide IVOKER through private client access. Businesses can request a demonstration, discuss the work they want to bring into the product, and coordinate access with our team at SYNTONYL.
Our team continues to improve IVOKER around the work businesses bring to it. Our priorities are continuity across ongoing tasks, clear review of documents and results, and effective use of the applications a business relies on.
IVOKER brings our applied AI work into daily business operations. The product connects a goal with the information behind it, the work required, and the person responsible for the outcome.
