PursuitBid
A financial planning workspace that connects business records, budgets, forecasts, and cash timing for performance reviews, scenario analysis, and management reporting.

What It Does
Brings actual performance, annual budgets, a twelve-month operating forecast, and a thirteen-week cash outlook into one planning workspace.
Who It Serves
Business owners and management teams that need a clearer view of performance, staffing decisions, and future cash needs.
My team of engineers and I at SYNTONYL have built PursuitBid to help businesses maintain a financial outlook they can actually use. It is a financial planning and analysis product operated by SYNTONYL, focused on the questions that come after the books are prepared. How is the business performing against its plan? What would another hire change? When could cash become tight?
The product is built, and we are now onboarding businesses privately. Our focus is bringing each business into the workspace with the records, planning assumptions, and reporting needs that matter to its management team.
Those questions often require several spreadsheets, accounting exports, and assumptions that are difficult to keep aligned. PursuitBid brings that work into a shared workspace where the records, the plan, and the current outlook remain connected without being confused with one another.
From Records to a Working Plan
The process starts with the business's own information. Supported spreadsheet imports bring in financial records, budgets, outstanding receivables and payables, staffing information, and operating inputs. The user reviews the records and how they are organized before relying on them in a plan.
From there, management can prepare an annual budget and set the assumptions behind revenue, costs, staffing, and cash timing. A rolling twelve-month operating forecast shows what those assumptions imply for the business. A separate thirteen-week cash outlook focuses on when money is expected to arrive and leave.
A budget and a forecast have different jobs. The budget records the target management has adopted. The forecast reflects current expectations. PursuitBid keeps the adopted budget intact as the forecast changes, preserving a consistent basis for performance reviews.
Testing a Decision Before Committing
Scenarios let a team explore a proposed change separately from its baseline plan, including different hiring dates, operating costs, growth assumptions, and customer payment timing.
For example, a business considering another employee needs to see more than the salary alone. The useful question is how the staffing plan affects operating costs and, with the relevant timing inputs, the cash outlook. PursuitBid gives those assumptions a place to be reviewed together before management decides what to adopt.
The same approach applies to a weaker sales month or later collections. Each scenario makes its assumptions explicit, giving management a clear basis for comparing options.
Understanding What Changed
As new actual results become available, the workspace compares them against budgets and earlier forecasts. It shows differences across accounts and departments, giving management the detail behind the headline numbers.
The analysis presents measured changes alongside the planning assumptions behind them. Management brings its knowledge of the business to that review, connecting the financial results with the decisions and events behind them.
Reports bring the financial summary, comparisons, operating outlook, cash view, and assumptions together. They can be reviewed in the workspace or shared as PDF and spreadsheet exports. Each published edition retains the context used to produce it, so a later correction creates a new edition instead of silently changing an earlier report.
Clear Records and Assumptions
PursuitBid keeps recorded results, planning assumptions, and missing inputs distinct. Required information is checked before it feeds the affected calculation, giving the team a clear path to resolve gaps and maintain a consistent outlook.
Reports retain those distinctions, so management can review the figures and assumptions together. Each outlook stays connected to the information used to produce it.
The business controls budget adoption, material assumptions, and access to its information. PursuitBid provides the shared workspace for making and recording those decisions.
Where the Product Fits
PursuitBid serves businesses with one legal entity, one base currency, and usable financial records. It works alongside the accounting system to turn those records into recurring plans, forecasts, and management reports.
Private Onboarding
We are introducing PursuitBid through private onboarding rather than an open self-service rollout. This gives our team at SYNTONYL a direct role in understanding each business's records, confirming the fit, and helping establish its planning workflow. The product is ready for that work, with access coordinated directly through our team.
PursuitBid gives owners and management teams a repeatable way to review performance, maintain expectations, test decisions, and understand upcoming cash needs without rebuilding the same planning process every month.
