What We Build
AI systems, SaaS products, machine learning models, financial planning tools, payment systems, and connected business software.
How We Work
My team and I work across planning, engineering, deployment, and ongoing operations, with clear documentation and responsibility at each stage.
From Planning to Daily Use
- Define the problem, the constraints, and what a useful result looks like.
- Build and connect the software, data, and infrastructure needed to get there.
- Make the system understandable, maintainable, and ready for the people using it.
My team of engineers and I at SYNTONYL build the software and systems that businesses need to operate and grow. We develop AI systems, SaaS products, machine learning models, financial planning software, payment systems, websites, and custom applications. Our work connects those products to the data, infrastructure, and day-to-day operations behind them.
A client can come to us with a product idea or a problem that needs solving. A slow process, disconnected records, an unreliable application, or a half-finished product can all be starting points. We work through what needs to change, decide what is worth building, and take responsibility for delivering something people can use. That includes developing our own products as well as building systems for other businesses.
Software That Fits the Business
Websites remain an important part of the business. A good site needs clear content, a responsive interface, useful analytics, and a straightforward path for someone to make an inquiry or buy. Forms, search, scheduling, payments, and customer relationship tools need to connect to the work happening behind the page.
We build full applications and software-as-a-service products, from customer portals and internal dashboards to commerce platforms and subscription software. That work brings together interfaces, backend services, APIs, databases, account permissions, billing, and deployment. We design those pieces together so the product works as a whole, not just as a collection of screens.
Existing systems matter just as much as new ones. We improve lead routing, connect payment providers, build reporting pipelines, and add features to software businesses already use. Each engagement has a defined scope and a clear path for further work.
AI Systems and Machine Learning
We build AI systems around a defined job, including assistants that work with company knowledge, document processing, search and retrieval, workflow automation, and agents that coordinate tasks across existing tools. The starting point is a process with identifiable inputs, exceptions, and a result someone can evaluate.
Our work also includes machine learning models. Depending on the problem and available data, that can mean developing a model, adapting an existing one, or integrating it into a larger application. Classification, forecasting, recommendations, and anomaly detection each need suitable data and a way to measure whether the model is useful. We treat data preparation, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring as part of the work, not as tasks that end when a model runs once.
For systems that use agents or language models, we include permissions, human review, failure handling, evaluation, and cost in the implementation. An assistant needs access to the right information and tools, along with clear limits on what it can do. The people using it should be able to understand its output and take over when a task needs judgment.
Financial Planning and Reporting
We build software that helps businesses work with their financial information. That includes planning tools, budgets, forecasts, cash flow views, scenario analysis, and management reporting. The engineering challenge is keeping the records, calculations, assumptions, and reports connected as the business changes.
PursuitBid is one of the products our team has built in this area. It brings business records, budgets, forecasts, and cash planning into a shared workspace. Across this kind of software, we keep recorded results distinct from planning assumptions so the people making decisions can understand what they are looking at.
Payment Systems and Commerce
We build payment systems and integrations into websites, applications, and SaaS products. Depending on the business, that can include checkout, recurring subscriptions, invoicing, payment status tracking, refunds, and connections between payment providers and internal records.
The work extends beyond a successful transaction. Failed payments, duplicate notifications, access changes, and reconciliation all affect the customer experience and the business behind it. We design the application around those cases, with clear permissions and reliable records of what happened.
The Data and Infrastructure Underneath
Reliable software depends on reliable data. Database design, imports, migrations, validation, and reporting all affect whether a team can trust what it sees. We include those foundations in the work so that an application can remain useful as records, users, and reporting needs grow.
Infrastructure also reaches beyond the application. Cloud environments, office networks, Wi-Fi, device connectivity, segmentation, and secure remote access can determine whether a business can operate at all. SYNTONYL includes that work because software and the environment it runs in need to be planned together.
Security and recovery belong in those decisions from the beginning. That includes reviewing access, reducing unnecessary exposure, hardening configurations, and documenting how to restore important systems. A backup is useful when someone knows what it contains, how to recover it, and who is responsible for doing so.
How Our Team Works
Our delivery process moves through discovery, design, build, and launch, followed by operation and improvement where the engagement calls for it. We start with the intended outcome, map dependencies, and define a useful first release. Architecture, scope, budget, and responsibility should be clear enough that a client can make informed decisions before implementation expands.
My team and I work together across strategy, architecture, implementation, and delivery. Depending on the scope, we work alongside a client's internal team, coordinate with existing vendors, or bring in specialized collaborators. Reviews, preview deployments, testing, and documentation keep the work visible and make the eventual handoff easier.
What Happens After Launch
Launch is the beginning of daily use. Systems need monitoring, maintenance, backups, performance checks, and a clear response when something fails. SYNTONYL offers managed hosting and ongoing technical support, with the responsibilities and coverage defined for each engagement. Clients can also retain their own cloud environment and arrange a handoff or shared operating model.
SYNTONYL brings this work together. My team and I take a business need from the first technical decisions through to a working system and its ongoing operation. We build AI applications, SaaS platforms, financial planning tools, and payment workflows with maintenance and continued development built into the delivery process.
